Go ahead and skip the carrots....unless there's ranch dressing....but the plying? She ees gud.

Look how lovely! The colors are awesome too. What IS that fabulous fiber?

maryse

ok -- see, i didn't know plying was scary. so i plied on the first day.

and i navajo plied on the second.

but it took me over 20 years before i even thought to try a sock.

maryse

maybe i should have practiced my singles longer though

Sara

But there I was, avoiding plying like a bunch of knitters ignoring the one plate of carrots on a pot luck table full of chocolate brownies

*giggles* Jackie, this is why I liked you so much when I first met you... you are too funny!

But the plying looks great! And the colors are yummy!

elisa

Man, you did a great job with the plying! And isn't it a silly amount of fun? It takes the spinning to a whole new level for me. It's the spinner's version of "I can bring home the bacon and fry it up in a pan".

Mmm...bacon...

Stacey

Looks like you are improving by leaps and bounds even after one try! Like all other fiber endeavors, it isn't as bad once you get in there and do it! :)

Martha

Ooh, dig that shiny yarn! Nice plying, too!

Kathy

Your plying looks great. I have the same fear of short row -- irrational, maybe, but still . . .

Carole

Plying is one of my favorite parts of spinning. Glad you finally tooks the plunge!
